The project
Every year in Italy, approximately 1,400 children under the age of 14 are diagnosed with cancer. Although the survival rate has reached 80%, the treatment process often forces children and young people into isolation that can affect their emotional well-being and learning, increasing anxiety and school difficulties.
Approach
The project focuses on edutainment, combining education and entertainment to offer children an engaging and stimulating experience even during the treatment process.
Its strength lies in the concrete support to young cancer patients, helping them to maintain the bond with their family and school, reducing isolation and improving their quality of life. Through innovative tools, it promotes social inclusion and personalized education, facilitating communication and learning.
This initiative represents a significant step towards a more humane, interactive and well-being-focused healthcare for children in care.
